First appearing in the Blake Edwards movie, the Pink Panther starred in his own animated theatrical shorts from 1964 to 1980. This cel setup from 1967 is on a hand-painted background from “In the Pink” in which the Pink Panther joins a gym to get into shape. This is the last year the animation for the Pink Panther character was outlined with pink rather than black.
