Belle & Sebastian was a series produced for French and Japanese audiences from 1981-1982, then aired for American audiences on Nickelodeon starting in 1984. The show followed a young boy named Sebastian, his dog Belle, and a puppy named Poochie as they searched for Sebastian’s long-lost mother in the French Alps.
