Building a Narrative reveals the multidimensional format of television and film, its creative process, and the impact video media and storytelling have on popular culture and our identities.

While audiences are familiar with the stories shown here, the opportunity to see how these narratives came into being is rare. As a pathway to the final products, this display of production artwork encourages appreciation and understanding of the development, collaboration, and creative process of storytelling over the years.

Building a Narrative is evidence of how ingrained popular culture is in our lives. The timeless cartoons, cult-classics, and childhood memorabilia included in the exhibition speak to audiences across generations and spark personal emotions and nostalgic connections.
